Hi, how much do you charge for a small dog, please?

The dog stays with us for free. Only a small final cleaning fee of € 20.00 per dog has to be paid once. You can bring a maximum of 2 dogs per room. We will be happy to provide you with a feeding bowl and other utensils on request.

Within in walking distance of sites, shops and restaurants.

The hotel is located near all of the places of interest, restaurants and shops. It is on a street where cars are not allowed and in a clean surrounding area.

For some people the lack of lifts would be an issue. Located within feet of a church the bells may also be off putting to some but this does not go on all night.

Very small room but clean & tidy. Situated well for sightseeing & dining.

All needs were met. Room & bathroom were clean & tidy. Bed was comfortable. Situated in a very convenient area for walking along the river & plenty of restaurants close by for dinner.

Extremely small room with just enough room to walk around the bed. Had to leave our cases packed up in a corner due to lack of space. Church across the road with very loud bells ringing however didn’t disturb us during the night. A couple of steep stairways to drag our cases up to the room. No contact from reception (contactless check in and checkout) No one on hand to ask for information.

Incredible location, so central to everything including tourist spots, bars and restaurants. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

A lot of complaints about the bell on the church but it wasn’t an issue for us!

Great location for walking around.

Location was the best. It was centered in the old city but also quiet.

We were short of hot water after each shower. You won’t get natural sunlight but we were always out during the day so it did not matter to us much.

Central, clean, welcoming hotel.

Loved the location and ease of checkin. Very close to public (pay) parking garage. Coffee with cream and sugar packets were nice to have in the room.

No elevator, so be prepared. We were fine, but others might not be! The property is immediately across the street from a church that “bongs” every 15 minutes, quite loudly! Again, we didn’t mind, but others might!

A pleasant experience, would definitely stay here again!

Easy to find and everything was spotlessly clean. Electric fan was a godsend as the room would have been quite warm without it.

A great stay in an historical building

Location is perfect, very convenient to reach all tourist spots on foot. The old building is well restored, but still keeps the historical charm. The street in front of the hotel is a pedestrian street with lots of terraces, restaurants, café.... Right on the hotel door. You will love the place if you are sick of standardized hotel rooms and lobbies, and if you want to feel the rich history of Salzburg not only during the museum tour.

Of course, you have the drawback of an historical building: narrow stairs, small room (but very well organised) , and some noise of the terraces below if you want to sleep early instead of enjoying the terrace... But this is by far worth it.

Great location, quaint room, comfy bed

Great location in the historic centre, comfy bed, quaint room with good shower, breakfast was available at a cost but we didn't have any. No lift but knew there probably wouldn't be and had to walk up 4 flights of narrow stairs with bags.

Church bells right across from our room that started ringing at 5am everyday but they had a great sound. Would have liked an electric jug and cups to make a cup of tea.

Perfect spot for exploring Salzburg

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Salzburg, both sides of the river, on foot - and it is only a 15-minute walk from the train station. The mountain walks are also within easy reach. I had the single room in the attic which was small but nevertheless had a nice bathroom and even provided a small fridge and a kettle as well as a small desk and chair. The hotel has been lovingly decorated and there is a pleasant breakfast room overlooking the pedestrian-only street it is on.

The bed was a single, which didn‘t matter, but it was a little uncomfortable. The window looks onto a charming stone terrace pretty with plants, but when other guests are using it the room no longer feels as private or quiet - only an occasional problem.
